Jean Kovacs has over 25 years experience directing technology companies. Most recently, she was CEO and co-founder of Comergent Technologies, a leader in the enterprise software space. In this role, she spearheaded Comergent's overall solutions and services strategy, and also oversaw the company's daily operations including product development, sales, marketing, and operations along with her executive team. In late 2006, Comergent was sold to Sterling Commerce (a division of AT&T).
Prior to Comergent, Jean was co-founder and executive vice president of Qualix Group, responsible for managing and directing the engineering, marketing, services, and telesales departments, and was closely involved in the company's initial public offering. She holds a bachelor's in finance from Northeastern University and an MBA from Harvard University.
Rich Torre is a consultant and advisor to high technology companies on the east and west coasts. Prior to establishing his consultancy, he was president of PA Compliance, a provider of SaaS solutions for companies needing to comply with the USA PATRIOT Act. In 2008, the company was sold to EVS, a Lousiville, KY, IT compliance firm.
Before PA Compliance, Torre ran SalesLink, a CMGi operating company, for 11 years. During his tenure, SalesLink grew from an unprofitable, Boston-based, company to a $200M global leader in financial services fulfillment, eFulfillment and outsourced manufacturing. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of marketing, sales and finance management positions at Digital Equipment, Wang Laboratories, IBM, Evans Products and Drazen Industries.
Rich Torre has his BSBA and MBA from Babson College, where he is an adjunct professor in the MBA program.
