TimeTrade Releases Version 4 with Extended API Support for Customization and Integration

BOSTON, MA — June 15, 2005 —TimeTrade Systems today announced Version 4 of its TimeCommerce Enterprise Scheduling Application (TESA), a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software product which automates complex, large-scale appointment scheduling processes. TESA is used by major retailers for customer scheduling, government agencies serving the public, healthcare providers scheduling patients, and university departments who meet with students and applicants.

Version 4.0 extends the TESA platform with new API methods and additional appointment scheduling capabilities. The API is available with TimeTrade’s new “COTS Plus” product, a version of TESA designed for customization and integration by the most demanding enterprise customers. TimeTrade’s standard COTS product, without the API, is highly configurable out-of-the box to meet the needs of department-level users and smaller service businesses. Both the COTS and COTS Plus products are available as purchased software for self-hosting, or on an ASP basis hosted by TimeTrade.

Version 4.0 adds a host of API methods that can be used to query an appointment book site, add, update, or delete clients and appointments, and perform other tasks. Each method may be called directly from JAVA and many are also available as web services that can be called from a remote application. A few of the tasks that may be performed programmatically include:

Adding, updating, and deleting clients
Getting a list of clients based upon selected search parameters
Getting a list of appointments associated with a client
Getting a list of appointments associated with a date
Getting an appointment based upon an appointment confirmation number
Getting appointment availability associated with a location, campaign, program, activity and set of resources
Creating an appointment
Canceling an appointment
Confirming, checking-in, and checking-out an appointment

Version 4 also includes email, export, and reporting enhancements, as well as many additional scheduling functions and refinements.
